Why me?

I lived the first half of my life in a fairly intense place. My thinking was mostly in the box, perfection and powerlessness were the norm. Play had little or no place in my life.

It wasn’t until I started to ask, “Oh, God, lighten me up!” that Laughter Yoga found me. That was the beginning of a new life — and I haven’t let go of my play-filled way of being since.

A life-changing Journey

Caren KolerskiIn 2006, I began my Laughter Yoga studies and, for the next five years lead hundreds of elders, adults and children to find their Inner Joy!

Laughter Yoga brought me through some very difficult personal, physical and financial challenges in the fall of 2011. In 2012 , I had the honor of studying with co-founders Dr. Madan Kataria and his wife Madhuri, training as a Certified Laughter Yoga Teacher.

My speciality is to passionately lead groups of any size in Laughter Yoga — it is a life-changing experience!

What is Laughter Yoga? It is a unique program in which people laugh for no reason! It combines laughter exercises with yoga breathing (Pranayama), allowing more oxygen to the body and brain increasing energy and health. Laughter is simulated as a body exercise in a group; with eye contact and childlike playfulness it turns into real and contagious laughter. It is based on the scientific fact that the body cannot tell the difference between fake and real laughter — the results are the same.

I effectively reach from my heart to the heart of my audiences, establishing long-lasting personal connections. I live and share the Inner Spirit of Laughter. I have been interviewed by print and television media.
